After a series of cleaning and screening processes, the remaining pieces of PET plastic are heated and melted to form small plastic pellets. These granular plastics can be used as raw materials to produce new plastic products. Sometimes, people will first depolymerize the recycled PET plastic into monomer molecules and then re-polymerize.

The recycled PET plastic can be made into new packaging container, plastic film, or synthetic fiber to make cloth and clothes. It may sound strange to recycle a plastic bottle into a piece of clothing, but in fact the same material is very widely used in the textile industry.  But when made into fibers, PET is often called "polyester" . After hearing this name, do you feel more familiar? Overturn the label of the clothes, you will often see it.

In the past, PET plastics recovered by conventional methods were no longer used to make beverage bottles or other food-contact packaging, because the cleaning method at that time was mainly to clean the surface of the plastic, and it was not guaranteed that the contaminants that penetrated into the plastic were completely removed. Remove. However, with the advancement of recycling technology, this problem has been solved. Recycled PET plastics have been able to achieve a clean level of food packaging by "deep cleaning" under conditions of high temperatures, vacuum, and the like. Now, the discarded beverage bottles can be turned into new beverage bottles again through recycling, which means that real “recycling” is achieved.
